The Old Vicarage, Malvern

An outstanding 7 bedroom historic property in the beautiful town of Malvern.
Before After
The vendors contacted us from overseas, as the Vicarage, their family home, had been on the rental market for 8 years but now the vendors wanted to sell. The Vicarage was in need of some simple improvements after being occupied by tenants and general wear and tear. We recommended replacing a couple of the carpets to give the rooms that were most worn a fresh look.
When dressing a vendors property that has furniture already in place we will, where possible, try to use pieces that the family are happy for us to use which then reflects in the overall budget of staging.

The initial inquiry arrived in early September, and we excitedly completed the staging project a week later. The vendor travelled to the UK and was very much part of the whole staging journey. As the Vicarage had been the family home for so many years, we fully understand the emotional journey some experience when the family home becomes something that you’re not used to.
We were thrilled when the family absolutely loved how we had staged their home, and even more so when the property had sold only 3 weeks later!
The client spent 0.6% of the asking price on staging costs and the property sold for 98% of the guide price.
This is what our vendor had to say about their experience -
"I fully believe that staging the house helped generate a large amount of interest in the property - we had 30 viewings in 3 weeks resulting in 3 good offers. Chanelle and her team came into the house (a large 7 bedroomed Victorian Vicarage) like whirlwinds and transformed it in the space of 2 days, despite only receiving my initial enquiry and instruction one week beforehand. They immediately understood what look I was trying to achieve and with their creative flair they executed the design brilliantly. I would have no hesitation in recommending Chanelle and her team to anyone looking to stage their house for sale."
